view-do-listHey all! As you know, I am a man who writes a lot of things and posts them on the Internet. Recently, I tried Googling myself to see if anybody appreciated it. While I found some sites that said nice things about me or quoted me (mostly sites devoted to either Lost or Ron Swanson), I also found some people who don’t care for me one bit. It turns out, people who watch Lost only for the Kate-Sawyer relationship hate me. And yet, I feel like when people you’ve never met hate you, it means you’ve kind of arrived.

And if you need some cheering up, go to YouTube and find the opening theme for The Littlest Hobo. It was a 60’s show about a homeless dog who had amazing adventures. Not only is the song about the hobo life hilarious, there is a clip where the Littlest Hobo is running through the woods with a sniper rifle in his mouth. It is completely awesome. He also might be piloting a hot-air balloon. That’s not definite, though. The point is, this is the coolest dog ever. I am totally going to put together a pitch for a revival of that series. Maybe his sidekick can be a certain Pelt Baby….

Here’s what you’ll be watching this week!

MONDAY
FOX
8-9 HOUSE – House treats an avid blogger who experiences sudden bruising and bleeding. Well, we’re clumsy. It happens. I believe this is also the episode where House tries speed-dating, and I am ridiculously excited by that.

view-do-listHi there! Usually the beginning of March brings a spate of reruns, since February is a sweeps month. However, with most shows muscled off the air for the Olympics the last couple of weeks, we’ve got quite a bit to watch. Hooray! Of special note is the series finale of Nip/Tuck. Man, I’m going to miss those guys.

In happy TV news, FX has renewed Archer for a second season. As a man who belongs to no fewer than five Archer-related groups on Facebook (including one devoted solely to the occasional Johnny Bench references), this brings my great joy. Now, let’s see if we can get Better Off Ted renewed, TV Gods! Yes, I said “Gods”. I assume that TV is pantheistic. Specifically that pantheon includes, but is not limited to, celestial versions of David Milch, Brock Samson, John Locke, and Tom Servo. Sometimes, they demand a sacrifice…

Hey, the Oscars are on this Sunday! There are a bunch of movies that I loved up for big awards this year. That said, if Avatar wins Best Picture, I will punch a baby. Am I serious? Maybe, but are you willing to take that chance? Think of the children!
